"Something which Fasano often uses in his inlays is a sort of apocalyptic vision, an irregular opening through which we can see sweet scenes speading out: plains lined with upright menhir, around which mytical figures dance [...] These apocalyptic openings are like impossible windows looking onto a realm of distant happiness, long dreamed of and yet nostalgic. This happiness is animated by steady faith, be it menhir, sun or light, and by a sense of higher harmony, as in the dance, the calm sea, the sunset. It is as if someone, inside the cave, looking out, sees the light of a civilization which is above all expressed in a feeling of beauty and harmony, solidarity (the dancing group) and love".
